Meet Dr. Milroy
Dr. Laura L. Milroy, a Fort Collins native, graduated from Brigham Young University with a degree in Biology. She received her Doctor of Dental Surgery from the University of Colorado School of Dental Medicine. Following graduation she completed a General Practice Residency at the George E. Wahlen Medical Center in Salt Lake City where she received extensive training in IV sedation, dental surgery, and implant placement and restoration. Dr. Milroy received her Endodontic Certificate and Masters of Science from the University of Minnesota where she was honored to serve as chief resident her senior year. During her time in dental school and endodontic residency, she completed research using cone-beam computed tomography to investigate dental anatomic relationships. Dr. Milroy provided endodontic care with a practice in Colorado Springs before taking the opportunity to serve patients in her home base of northern Colorado with Endodontic Specialists of Northern Colorado.
Dr. Milroy has achieved Diplomate status with the American Board of Endodontics and is a board certified endodontist. Less than 25% of all practicing endodontists in the United States are board certified. She is the currently the only Board Certified Endodontist practicing in the cities of Fort Collins, Loveland and Longmont.
Dr. Milroy is a member of numerous professional organizations including the American Dental Association, American Association of Endodontists, Endodontic College of Diplomates, Colorado Dental Association, Larimer County Dental Society, and Boulder-Broomfield Dental Society. She is a Past-President of the Larimer County Dental Society. She has served as Chair and Committee Member for the American Association of Endodontists. She currently serves on a committee for the Colorado Dental Association. She currently is a Board Member of Dental Professional Liability Trust of Colorado.
Dr. Milroy loves spending time in the outdoors, hiking and mountain biking with her husband, Tyler and their two dogs Boomer and Bailey. She enjoys being close to family and enjoying all that Colorado has to offer.
